Are you our new Senior Manager People Development?
You have got a strategic mindset and the ability to conceptualize and implement a long-term people development strategy that aligns with business objectives and drives people and organizational performance. You have experience from global organizations with diverse worker profiles and you possess a deep understanding of how to transform culture, how people learn, how to develop leaders to be successful change agents, organizational behaviour, and structures.
You have experience with developing extensive leadership development and learning programs, and experience with developing teams to be fit for purpose, thriving and collaborating towards common missions and goals. You will lead the people development team, supporting employee growth and skill enhancement, across our organization.
Overview
The purpose of this role is to empower WalWil employees to drive our strategy by actively engaging in their career growth and excelling through a strong focus on people development.
You will be accountable for the design and execution of learning and development programs, leadership development initiatives, leadership programs, own our LMS, global mentorship and management trainee programs. You will work closely with the rest of the People and Organizational Development Team, the rest of our People function and important stakeholders in our business units, reporting to the SVP People & Organizational Development.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for WalWil`s strategic approach to People development.
- Process owner and accountable for WalWil`s learning and development programs at global level.
- Design, deliver and own global people development programs incl. global leadership development programs.
- Ensure learning initiatives that align with strategic workforce planning and business needs.
- Own, administer and update the global LMS to ensure content and evolving needs.
- Monitor effectiveness of training and development programs.
- Develop and implement learning strategies that align with organizational goals and employee career paths.
- Design and deliver training programs tailored to different business units.
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Expertise in designing and implementing training and development programs.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Expertise in learning principles, instructional design, and methodologies for developing leadership, technical, and soft skills across the organization.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders within HR, other corporate functions, and the business.
- Ability to analyse data, act on insights and provide feedback.
- Encourage collaboration and teamwork across all levels of the organization.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to personal and professional growth.
- Communicate transparently, ensuring all team members are aligned with the organization’s goals.
- Stay updated on the latest HR and people development trends, such as e-learning, digital tools for learning, and evolving best practices.
- Ability to facilitate workshops, training sessions, and leadership development programs in an engaging and effective manner.
- Promote diversity and inclusion within all development programs.
- Stakeholder management.
Required education and experience
- Minimum of seven years of experience working with Learning & Development and Talent Management.
- Master`s degree in related area: Human resource management, Organization and Leadership development, change management, Learning and technology, or similar.
- Proven experience building and managing Talent Management programs.
- Proficiency in managing LMS platforms and digital learning development tools.
