What we are looking for
We are looking for a dynamic professional with a strong background in strategic HR and organizational development, combined with proven project management expertise. Experience in management consulting is highly valued. You are passionate about driving organizational growth, and bring extensive hands-on experience in change management within complex organizational environments. You excel in cross-functional, international teams and will report directly to the SVP, People & Organizational Development.
Overview
In this role you will have the responsibility for driving strategic HR initiatives and change projects that impact HR and business objectives, aligned with Wallenius Wilhelmsen’s strategy and goals.
You will build and lead a small Impact team of HR project managers and be responsible for the scoping and prioritization of the Impact team`s projects. You`ll be following up on the portfolio of projects managed by the team, as well as manage projects yourself. The role works closely with the rest of the HR function and across business areas globally, in close collaboration with HR leadership and stakeholders in WalWil.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver a portfolio of projects to deliver on our people strategy.
- Build and lead the impact team.
- Serve as advisor to the HR Management Team.
- Utilize data analytics to monitor effectiveness of project deliverables and drive continual improvement to assess impact on HR metrics, for continual improvement.
- Ensure all projects meet quality standards, timelines, and budgets, and with measurable impact.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders in the HR function and the business.
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Experience with strategic HR.
- Strong project management skills, and the ability to manage cross functional teams in a dynamic and complex environment.
- Proficiency in agile project methodologies, with well documented experience.
- Strong experience in change management.
- Excellent prioritization and problem-solving skills, identifying key issues and developing strategic solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fosters a culture of trust and mutual respect.
- Maintains an elevated level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Shows flexibility and resilience in the face of change and uncertainty
- Knowledge of Workday as HR system is a plus.
Required education and experience
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in strategic HR, People advisory, HR project management, organizational development, or similar roles.
- Master’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, Finance, or related fields.
- Proven experience managing complex HR/organizational development related tasks, and experience from an international environment is a prerequisite.
